Learn how to brew kombucha, explore flavour pairings, and take home your own kombucha that you will flavour yourself on our kombucha course.
Join award-winning Monty Booch Co-Founder & Head Brewer James for a hands-on kombucha workshop where you'll discover the fundamentals of kombucha brewing, experiment with natural flavourings, and create your own blend to bottle and take home. Perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike.
Our kombucha making class starts with a welcoming kombucha mocktail, followed by a discussion around the basics of brewing kombucha and dealing with some of the common pitfalls you might encounter. You will then flavour your own brews using a variety of flavours from our "flavour Station" before enjoying some delicious grazing boards paired with our very own kombucha. You can then bottle your concoctions before we have a Q&A to answer any brewing questions. Finally, we will send you home with your very own SCOBY so you can continue brewing at home.

James and Shauna delivered a very interesting and informative workshop and their enthusiasm for creating great kombucha was evident. I came away with my own scoby and the confidence and knowledge to start my own kombucha journey.
Interesting and fun...hands on. Small group size allowed flexible individual advice and help.
Excellent value
Very enjoyable course, covered the basics well. It would have been good to have a handout of the different flavourings and how to prepare them. I'm going to try gooseberry (I have some bottled). Also, perhaps some advice about where to purchase flip top bottles with the joining instructions as I ended up having to send off for mine. Also, perhaps keep on top of the automatic email responses sent out: when I purchased the course I was charged shipping (although very quickly refunded) and when I emailed a few days before the course to find out what I needed to bring I received an email back about Xmas closures. Even this feedback form has an April date on it! I hope this is taken as constructive feedback and not just a moan, because it was great meeting you and the course was very useful.
Such a great and informative workshop. James and Shauna were great hosts, welcoming and knowledgeable. It has really encouraged me start brewing and I feel like I have the tools to do that now.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Kombucha workshop and with the information gained along with a bag of scobi I feel confident to make my own brews at home. Thank you James and Shauna for a great afternoon.
