Our story so far
At Monty Booch, we believe kombucha should be more than just “good for you”. It should be bold, refreshing and downright delicious — the sort of drink you look forward to. Founded by James and Shauna in Buckingham in 2024, we’ve spent the last year crafting vibrant, adventurous flavours and brewing each bottle with care.
We’re proud to say our efforts were recognised in 2025 when Monty Booch was awarded 2 stars at the Great Taste Awards. That accolade reaffirmed what we’ve always felt: our kombucha isn’t just healthy — it tastes great too.
Why we’re crowdfunding
Thanks to the amazing support from our early customers, demand is growing, our capacity is full — and we’re ready to scale. Our Crowdfunder will help us make three key moves:
- Move into our new frumentary — a larger dedicated space where we can brew more efficiently and sustainably.
- Invest in larger fermenters — so we can increase output while keeping the small-batch quality you love.
- Add a small bottling line — to speed up production, reduce waste and get Monty Booch into more shops, cafés and homes.
This isn’t just about equipment — it’s about growing a local, independent brand that puts flavour, craft and community first.
